When this review helps

Useful when you want an independent view across several parts of your domiciliary care service. The review brings findings together so you can decide what needs attention first, without assuming that every record needs to be checked.

The agreed sample

What we can check

We agree the records, people and time period before work starts. The checks below help shape your review; they are not an unlimited review of every record.

Leadership and follow-up

Review agreed audits, action plans and management checks, including how repeated concerns are addressed.

Care, medicines and staff records

Look at the selected care records, medicines records and staff files identified in the written scope.

Concerns and responses

Follow agreed incidents, complaints and safeguarding records to see how concerns were handled.

Evidence across the five questions

Bring the agreed findings together under Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led.

After the review

What you receive

Your quote sets out the report and follow-up included in the fee.

A chance to work through the report and agree whether any further support is needed.

Before we start

We agree the sample, delivery method, timetable and fee in writing. Any correction support, re-audit or ongoing monitoring is clearly listed, with its own limits.

Please use the enquiry form for a brief description of your needs only. We agree a suitable way to share records before any personal care information is provided.

Important to know

This is an independent, sample-based review, not a CQC inspection. The quote covers the agreed sample and states any correction support and re-audit included.

The provider remains responsible for care and regulatory decisions. No review guarantees a CQC rating.
